The National University Golf Academy in the News

Since opening its doors in September 2009, the National University Golf Academy has garnered an impressive array of media coverage.

The first story about the Golf Academy to hit the news was in the Wall Street Journal on August 19, 2009. The article talked about the Academy’s state-of-the-art three-dimensional technology and high-speed cameras.

Several other notable print outlets have done stories about the National University Golf Academy, including the San Diego Union-Tribune, which has featured the academy and its programs, as well as Dr. Mac Powell, the academy's dean. Other print outlets include the San Diego Daily Transcript, and the Houston Chronicle. In February, 2010, the Golf Academy's free sport psychology labs were mentioned in the North County Times.

The Golf Academy also was featured in a three-page spread in the January-February issue of FORE, the award-winning magazine of the Southern California Golfers Association (SCGA).
