The National University Golf Academy’s Carlsbad and Fresno, California campuses feature state-of-the-art swing labs which utilize cutting-edge technology to provide golf analysis and instruction to help students improve their game. The swing labs consist of high-speed cameras and computer systems that render three-dimensional animation of a golfer’s swing, employing the same motion-capture software used by the TaylorMade Performance Lab and in the creation of the Gollum character in the Lord of the Rings films. The Academy and its swing labs have been featured in numerous local television news pieces in San Diego.
