Concentration in Professional Golf Management
Bachelor of Arts in Sport Psychology Areas of Specializations
Students in the Bachelor of Arts in Sport Psychology are required to choose an area of specialization and complete all courses specified in the desired area in addition to all of the Bachelor of Arts in Sport Psychology program requirements. Students must take at least three-fourths of the courses in the area of specialization while in residence at National University.
Concentration in Professional Golf Management (4 courses, 18 quarter units)
This golf management specialization program is designed to prepare students for entry into the field of professional golf management and coaching. This professional golf management program is designed to include practical experiences in coaching, instruction, and player development as well as introduce students to contemporary issues in golf management.
PGM 444 - Coaching, Instruction, and Player Development
(Prerequisites: ENG 100/101 and PSY 100)
PGM 447 - Seminar in Professional Golf Management
(Prerequisites: ENG 100/101 and PSY 100)
PGM 445 - Senior Seminar in Player Development
(Prerequisites: ENG 100/101 and PSY 100)
PGM 448 - Senior Project in Professional Golf Management (two month course)
(Prerequisites: ENG 100/101, PSY 100, and at least 10 courses completed in the major)
